At a time when increasingly aggressive cuts have left our schools and other community services over-stretched and under-supported, organisations such as the OMF play a crucial role in ensuring that those most disenfranchised don't fall between the gaps. Man cannot live on bread alone, and regular engagement with music and the arts can and should be a vital part of everyone's lives - not just for those who can afford it.
Our aim is to inspire, invigorate and embolden the people we work with through musical engagement - at no cost to the people we hope to help. None of this would be possible without the generosity of public funding bodies and donations from our supporters.
Just £15 is enough to pay for 2 children at one of our partner schools to have a 30 minute music lesson, and an instrument to take home and practice on. £30 will pay for a Women's Voices Choir rehearsal or African drumming session for victims of human trafficking. £300 will pay for an entire term of Children's Voices! Every penny counts, and any donation, however large or small, is gratefully received.
Be part of the change, and help us to make a difference in our community through music. With love and thanks to all our friends and supporters,
The OMF Team x
