Patrick is a Manchester based composer specialising in writing for electronics and acoustic instruments. He has had his music performed by the Vonnegut Collective with Manchester Contemporary Youth Opera, the Britten Sinfonia, and he’s looking forward to working with Distractfold. He began playing cello at the age of 8 with the Guernsey music service and has enjoyed making music in lots of different ways since then. Patrick studied music at the University of Manchester where he played in as many ensembles as he could in his time there. He was elected President of the University of Manchester Chorus in 2017 and then President of the Manchester University Music Society in 2018.
When he’s not having a great time working with the OMF, Patrick works at Sandbar whilst completing his MA in Electroacoustic music and Interactive media. He plays bass guitar in a band of anthropologists called the Academic People Watchers, and cello with the Event Music Company.
