Laura Batey

Laura is originally from Newcastle and has been working in the charity sector since 2019, specialising in community and corporate fundraising for both national and local charities. She is passionate about building meaningful partnerships and working with community volunteers, and she's over the moon to be joining the brilliant team at OMF as the new Fundraising and Development Manager at such an exciting time in the organisation's journey.

 

Outside of work Laura is an altfolk singer songwriter, and plays the flute and alto saxophone. She also loves jazz, theatre, baking homemade bread, and is a passionate advocate for social justice and intersectional feminism.
