Eleanor Austin

Director of Children's Voices

Eleanor began her love affair with music at Junior Guildhall, and now studies at the Royal Northern College of Music on the BMus course of Opera and Vocal Studies with Eiddwen Harrhy.

As a versatile performer, Eleanor frequently sings Classical, Opera, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Pop. As a keen educator, she devises workshops, leads theatre groups and directs choirs to inspire people to share their own voice as a form of self-expression and communication through music.

Eleanor enjoys working with children and has assisted music therapists at SEN schools, including placements with Nordoff-Robbins and LIME Music For Health at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

As the Director of Children's Voices, Eleanor encourages children to appreciate a wide variety of music, learn essential musicianship skills, develop social and cultural awareness through music making,  meet new friends, and have fun!
