Director of Youth Voices & Voices of Hope
Violin and Singing Teacher

Alice is a professional singer, vocal teacher, choir leader and violin teacher based in Manchester. Born and raised in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Alice began playing the violin aged 5. She was then cast as “Martha” in a local production of “The Sound of Music” aged 8 which is where her love of singing began! She went on to be part of British Youth Music Theatre, Yorkshire Youth Orchestra and National Youth Theatre, before gaining a place on the Bachelor of Music Vocal and Opera studies course at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Since graduating Alice has enjoyed a successful career performing professionally, teaching hundreds of young singers and musicians and taking a vast array of different vocal ensembles, from chamber music to choreographed RnB and Pop choirs.

Alice’s musical tastes range from Vaughan Williams to the Spice Girls and this is reflected in her work!

Alice is also a violinist in a Manchester based urban/dance music collective with whom she regularly tours. 2019 saw the band featured with BBC introducing and performing at the Manchester Arena.

In her spare time, Alice likes to bake vegan cakes and spend time with her rescue dogs Peggy and Basil.
